Let him crawl around and get into things. He was busy with the toilet paper for a long time. Then we have to clean up after him.
Dan stuck him in the sink once while I was doing dishes. Now he whines to get in every time I am working at the sink.
Set him in the high chair with some food. This is his new "I don't like this food" look.
Of course we have more mess to clean up with food as a distraction.
I DO NOT suggest this one! This was all him. He climbed in when I went to put clothes away. Good thing the dryer was not hot. I took the picture and then never let him do this again. But he does look so cute and he was so proud of himself for climbing in.
When I'm working outside I just let him cruise around and get dirty. Soon after he learned the standard crawl he started the buns-up crawl. He didn't like scuffing his knees. He moves really fast at this crawl and looks like a funny little creature. I'll post video of it later. He is now starting to stand more and take steps so the crawl will soon be a thing of the past.
As you can see I don't keep house well with a baby. I do try to take care of him and the other kids as best as I can. The house (and the blog) get pushed down on the priority list. Good luck to all you moms with babies. Most of you put me to shame with housekeeping and blogging. I welcome all suggestions! How do you do it?? My life only looks perfect on the blog.
