Birthday Month

Amelia and Max both have May birthdays six days apart. My freezer has lots of leftover cake in it and my kids have more toys than a small African country.
The night before Max's birthday he went on a fathers and sons camp out. He had such a great time he still talks about it. Lots of family came and gave him gifts. He asked for a slinky dog, which he got. Dan decided he needs his son to have a Nintendo DS because the wii is more than we want. He enjoys it a little too much so I monitor the amount of time he spends on it.  Amelia was glad to be going to school on her birthday. Her aunts bought her this new outfit that she wears almost everyday. Dan took her and Max to see "Night at the Museum II." She liked all her toys but her favorite seems to be the ATM bank.
The day after her birthday, Amelia got her haircut. Her long hair was beautiful but the cute short look is great for summer. She has bangs for the first time ever!
Life is different now because Dan is working two jobs. He has an educational job in a lab at the UofU brain institute as well as Sorenson. We don't see him as much but it is nice when we do have all of us home. He is also working in the temple every Saturday morning as well.

I broke my foot a month ago but I just found out today that I can take the boot off! It was a lucky break. (Easy to fix by wearing a boot for a few weeks.) It is SO nice to have it off now. I am ready to start running again!
This picture of Shauna was taken just after we got her teeth fixed. When she was about 1 she bumped her front teeth and they grew in touching. FYI for parents : when kids teeth touch they should be flossed! Who thinks of flossing for a two year old? I didn't and now I've paid for it. She had a cavity right in between her front teeth. The dentist told us we should have her put under. It scares me to have my kid totally knocked out. We told him we'd like him to have her awake but sedated with the gas. We prayed and fasted that she'd be able to hold still and let the dentist work. Dan also gave her a blessing before. Our prayers were answered and she got through it just fine. Her teeth look great! You can't even tell she has had a cavity. The dentist even said it is one of the best front teeth jobs he has done.

Good to hear of your recent adventures. Speaking of hair---almost didn't recognize you with long hair!
I saw you three days ago and didn't catch any of this news. That darn rain storm cut us short. We need to get together on a nice sunny day and catch up obviously!
