Max finally lost his tooth that had been loose for about a year. It was so loose it was starting to turn grey. I told him it was time to get it out. He decided on the old slam the door trick. We tied dental floss to his very wiggly tooth. This took about 15 min. Then we tied it to the door knob. On the first two tries the string just slipped off the tooth. The third time Amelia slammed the door hard and the tooth was out.....and lost! We looked for a half hour and found it across the room under the bed.
He looks so cute with the gap in his smile. Picture day was the next day. I'm excited to see how they turned out. He was so proud of his missing tooth he talked about it all day. The tooth fairy left him a whole dollar. He bought a pencil with it at the school book fair.
This is grandpa Isaksen with his missing tooth too. Only he doesn't have another one ready to grow in its place.
