Our Halloween candy lasted about 3 days. My kids are candy crazy. Candy wrappers never make it to the trash until I pick them up. Shauna had some really strange colored diaper changes. Max made himself sick and said he never wanted candy again. I told him to hide the rest of his candy. When I found his stash I could see why he was sick of candy. There was only 7 pieces left! He ate almost all of his candy in a few hours. No wonder he felt sick. Amelia actually attempted to save some candy and she did have it longer than Max and Shauna. I suppose I should be a more pushy mom and take all their candy and give them a little at a time. But I remember being a kid and part of the fun was having all that candy that I earned. I'm glad it is gone now and my kids will eat carrot sticks again.

I realize now that I have hardly any good pictures of the kids Halloween costumes.
Amelia was a witch. She borrowed a really good witch dress from her friend. Max was himself from the story book "Where the Wild Things Are." This was at the school Halloween party and I didn't have time to finish Max's dragon costume so he had to re-use this costume from last year.
This is his finished dragon costume. We made it out of cardboard. My friend had some bright green paint that made it look really cool. I didn't last too long. Shauna sat on the dragon head a few days after Halloween. Max still wants to keep it. It is guarding our pumpkins outside now.
This is the only picture of Shauna I got. She didn't like wearing this big dress too much. She said she wanted to be Snow White but then choose this dress at Kid to Kid. It was really cheap so I bought it and put on some flowers and gave her a crown (that she didn't wear). I would have looked great with purple wings but I didn't find any. I think she only wore it because everyone made such a big deal about how cute she was.
For Halloween we went to our church's trick or treat party. I turned out really well. The kids get to trick or treat inside the church at all the class rooms. Before candy they had a big soup dinner.
